How to Make an Emergency Cardboard Stove
1 min read
Continuing my Heat and Light series, I show how to make an Emergency Stove out of common household materials: cardboard, paraffin wax and two tin cans.
These stoves can be pre-made and stored in an emergency or evac kit so they are available when needed. The video demonstrates the step by step procedures for making the stove and shows it bringing water near to boiling.
I would like to be able to print out the instructions on how to make these items but only the
video comes up.

Thank you so much for this practical, super useful tip. My family and I are brand new to this but eager to learn all that we can. I found this fascinating yet easy for anywone to build. I am also excited to try this as a “fun” project build with my sons. The only question I would have – could you use a drill instead of the tin snippers? If making these ahead of time? Thank you.
