For Friday the 11th
In this 3-part show, Tom from The American Preppers Network will first be interviewing Crusis, a moderator on the APN forum and discussing 1) TEOTWAWKI and 2) prepping as a Conservative. Crusis will be coming to the show sharing information with expertise in:
* Higher education in microbiology from Indiana State and Indiana University.
* Air Force for 4 years as a satellite controller in Space Command.
* Air Traffic Controller for 16 years
* Recent college courses in physics, political science, and astronomy
Part 1) TEOTWAWKI? in this segment we will discuss a series of conspiracies and possible TEOTWAWKI events and determining which are most likely to happen and which are least likely to happen. With all the urgencies, immediate threats, and stripping away of our freedoms in this world, we as preppers should focus our efforts on more of the potential disasters that are most likely to happen, while putting others that are least likely to happen, or those with little or no scientific basis, on the back burner in order to focus our prepping efforts more effectively where it counts the most.
Part 2) Prepping as a Conservative. I will be discussing with Crusis how Conservatives prep and what they prep for. We will talk about how fiscal responsibility, self-reliance, family values, and self-defense play an important part in our everyday prepping.
Part 3) We will be discussing Aquaponics with our sponsor AquaponicsUSA
Aquaponics USA is a backyard Aquaponics accessories, system design, research and building company dedicated to raising awareness about Aquaponics in the states. Our goal is to have the word Aquaponics be a household word in the US by the end of 2011. We discovered Aquaponics behind the great economic crash of late 2008 when we realized we needed to be able to grow our own food. At the time, we thought we’d just be able to go on-line and buy an efficient, economical system and install it. But when we went looking for one, there wasn’t one to meet our needs.
In light of this, Oliver, an aerospace engineer and one of the two founders, Grace Sylke and L. Oliver Duffy, decided to design and build his own system. Once that system was created, we realized we had the beginnings of a business, which we later put up on the web under the name Aquaponics USA: http://www.aquaponicsusa.com
Our main motto is: “Feeding America One Family At A Time,” as we believe food shortages are coming to our country; and everyone needs to move toward becoming more Food Independent. Because Aquaponics enables a backyard farmer to grow both food fish and vegetables using 90% less water than soil gardening, we believe it’s the agriculture of the future and the solution to both food and water shortages.
