Greenhouse of the Future

Did you know it’s possible to grow your favorite vegetables all year round? It’s even easier to accomplish than you might think. You may have even seen some of the various walipini designs floating around the web, but I’ll bet you haven’t seen one like this.
It’s called the Greenhouse Of The Future. Here you’ll see a short video of an overview of the design. You’ll notice that the producers are Canadian. Now why is that important to know? Do you know how freakin’ cold it gets in Canada during the winter!??
If these guys can develop a system that allows them to grow food year round in the dead cold of winter in Canada, then you know darn well that this is system is going to work just about everywhere in the U.S.
Imagine impressing your guests for a New Years Eve dinner with fresh veggies from right your greenhouse! A greenhouse that will feed you all year long. A greenhouse that YOU built!
Did you know that tires are safe to use? Absolutely they are, if done right. Set your chemical leaching fears aside. They’ve covered the bases on this one and will show you the right and safe way to use old tires for this project. As a matter of fact, most of your materials can come from recycled and re-purposed sources.

almost identical concept to Mike Reynold’s Earthships, except these don’t have the living quarters, kitchen, septic/running water features. Seems to be just as labor intensive — might as well have a house attached too!
It is exactly the same processes and all work very well. So in a way this is plageurizing Mikes ideas as if it were theres , But Mike gives it all away for free! so he wont really care. The internet is full of people gleaning from others and then reselling it as their idea! Lots of that going on in the prepper thing.
Why mention the walipini when its benefits aren’t included?
Have you noticed nearly everything to do with prepping is all about sales ? That should be a clue. I see people wasting all kinds of money on junk or stuff that simply is way past over priced when there is a better and much more cost effective way ? all he time.
I disagree. If you have ever been stuck for a week or longer in freezing temperatures or lose everything in a tornado then you would disagree also. I do agree there are a lot of overpriced junk items out there people probably do not need but that is why research is imperative before ever spending money. That should be with any purchase and not just preparedness things.
